The Green Bay Packers (13-0) scored 31 first-half points on their way to a 46–16 blowout win over the Oakland Raiders (7-6) Sunday to remain perfect on the season.
The start is the best in the league since Indianapolis started 14-0 in 2009, while the win is the 19th straight overall for the defending Super Bowl Champs.
Green Bay Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes to put the Packers up 31 points at the half. Rodgers, considered a shoe-in for MVP finished with 281 yards and those two scores, while completing 17 of 30 passes.
Packers’ running back Ryan Grant scored twice and finished with a team-high 85 rushing yards on 10 carries.
For the Raiders the loss puts them a game behind the Jets for the wild card and Denver for the division lead.
