Thousands of households lost power on Sunday in central Oregon as thunderstorms moved through the area.
As the National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warnings for parts of Deschutes and Jefferson counties, the storms knocked down trees and knocked out power and brought hail, lightning strikes, rain, and wind.
Pacific Power said nearly 4,300 households were without power in Culver, Madras, and Crooked River Ranch, reported KTVZ.
Hail up to golf-ball size was reported in several areas, including Madras. Flooding is happening in areas around Redmond, according to police.
