The Orange County Distillery in Goshen is expanding into a nearby location. In addition to its tasting room at 19 Maloney Lane in Goshen, it will now be selling and serving it’s liquor at 286 Maple Ave., a little over a mile away.
The new location is an 80-year old barn that distillery co-owner John Glebocki bought in April and has been using as a farmers market and renovating. The front will remain a market, and the back part and upstairs will be used for the distillery, Glebocki said. Farther in the future, he envisions a commercial kitchen in the downstairs to make prepared food.
“We'll still do what we’re doing at the distillery but we wanted to be able to entertain a little better,” he said. “To really relax and kind of make a day of it, that [new] space will be better.”
The new location, Brown Barn Farms, is open for business Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. and for private rental. For more information, visit BrownBarnFarms.com
