The “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” season 1 finale, episode 13, will also be the series finale.

The “Once Upon a Time” spinoff didn’t get sufficient viewing numbers for a renewal and instead was canceled by ABC executives.

The spinoff featured the world of Alice in Wonderland and premiered on October 10, 2013.

It included some crossover with the “Once Upon a Time” universe.

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis told E! News that there are no current plans to merge the series although it’s a possible.

“The two stories kind of take place in different times,” Kitsis said. Horowitz noted that they’re “slightly out of sync.”

However, he added: “I would say that we love the characters in [Wonderland] obviously, and would certainly be open to it down the line. .. Next year, perhaps.”

E! later confirmed that Michael Socha, who plays the Knave of Hearts/Will, will be crossing over into “Once Upon a Time” for season 4.

It’s unclear for now if any other characters are crossing over.
