Ochocinco arrested: Former NFL wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was arrested in Florida this week for violating his probation.
A warrant was issued for Johnson’s arrest earlier this month after he did not report to his probation officer on two occasions, according to TMZ. He also failed to show proof that he enrolled in a domestic violence class.
The probation was issued after he was convicted of domestic violence against former wife Evelyn Lozada in 2012.
On Monday, the judge ruled that Johnson was in violation of his probation, and he was ordered arrested and jailed.
Lozada accused Johnson of headbutting her during an argument.
Johnston played for the Cincinnati Bengals for 10 years and spent a year with the New England Patriots, getting to the Pro Bowl six times.
He signed with the Miami dolphins in 2012 but was released soon after.
