NYC: Yes, Subway Trains, Buses Run on Christmas Day

The Subway is open and trains run on Wednesday, Christmas Day.

However, according to the MTA, the trains, buses, and Staten Island Railway operate on a Sunday schedule, which means less frequent service.

On Sunday, there’s a few other changes, including the 5 train running between Dyre Av and Bowling Green only

There’s no 6 train has express service in the Bronx, no 7 train has express service in Queens, the M train runs between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av (Broadway) only, the Q train runs between Stillwell Av and 57 St-7 Av only, the R train service runs via the Manhattan Bridge between 71 Av, Queens and 95 St, Brooklyn.

There’s no B trains, so use the A, C, D, or Q train.

There’s also no Z trains, so use the J train.
