There’s something about years with an even number involved where music seems to thrive more than usual. 2014 has proven to be packed with upcoming album releases from artists who haven’t released material in years. While album releases are a different animal, what’s even bigger is the fact that some of the biggest acts will perform in the New York City/Long Island area in the first half of 2014.

Scott Ian of Anthrax Spoken Word Tour Wed 2/5: This should be an interesting time hearing a candid version of the past 30 years of his life and career with Anthrax.
