Alan Maisel has won the Democratic Primary in City Council district 46, basically assuring his victory in the heavily-Democratic district.
Maisel bested Mercedes Narcisse, getting 59.28 percent versus 40.72 percent with 98 percent of the precincts reporting.
Maisel is currently a state Assembly member for district 59.
He will face Republican Anthony Testaverde in the general election.
District 46 includes part of southern Brooklyn, including Mill Basin, Canarsie, and Gravesend.
