Team Irvin defeated Team Rice 49–27—largely on the strength of their quarterback play—on Jan. 31 in the NFL’s version of the All-Star Game, played in Honolulu.
Team Irvin quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Teddy Bridgewater, and Jameis Winston combined for seven touchdown passes on 20/32 passing for 406 yards and only one interception in the blowout win.
Conversely, Team Rice’s quarterbacks—Derek Carr, Tyrod Taylor, and Eli Manning—threw six interceptions against three touchdowns, while completing 28/48 passes for 386 yards.
