Exploring the limitless possibilities of the traditional Japanese taiko drum, Kodo brings this vibrant art form to Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center on Sunday March 20 at 7 p.m. Kodo’s master drummers have given over 3,300 performances on five continents. The Japanese word “kodo” is a homonym for “heartbeat” and their drumming has been hailed as having an astounding organic power.
