Snow is dropping across New England on Wednesday and the weather forecast indicates that up to 10 inches could drop.
The heaviest snow is dropping across Maine, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket.
Snow accumulation just to the west will drop to very little, according to the Weather Channel.
That includes little to no snow in Burlington, Vermont for the next several days--although snow is expected over the weekend.
Providence, too, is projected to be cold but clear of snow, with rain forecasted over the weekend as temperatures rise to the upper 40s Fahrenheit.
The snow in Nantucket is projected to be “heavy at times” today with winds of up to 70 miles per hour.
Up to 10 inches could drop, the National Weather Service said.
The snow should stop on Thursday as temperatures start to rise.
Very little snow is projected to drop in Augusta, probably totaling less than one inch. Boston is among the cities projected to not get any snow.
