A New Jersey man who is trying to get visitation rights for one of his children showed up to court wearing a Nazi uniform.
Heath Campbell, 40, from Holland Township, went to the Hunterdon County Family Court in Flemington to visit his youngest son, Heinrich Hons Campbell, who was named after Nazi leader Heinrich Himmler. His other children have Nazi-inspired names.
“I’m going to tell the judge, I love my children. I want to be a father, let me be it,” Campbell told NBC Philadelphia. “Let me prove to the world that I am a good father.”
His other children--Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, and Honzlynn Jeannie Campbell--were placed into foster care after allegations of domestic violence.
“I’ve never abused my children, I only name my children and I don’t think it’s right anymore,” Heath Campbell told NBC. He said he has not seen any of his children in two years.
“Basically, what they’re saying is because of my beliefs and I’m a Nazi, that us people don’t have any constitutional rights to fight for our children,” he said.
Last year, he told NJ.com that “if I have to give up my Nazism, then so be it. I’ll do it” to see his children again.
However, around a month later, he created the “Hitler’s Order” organization.
Campbell started wearing the Nazi uniform in June 2012 after the group was founded.
