Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is declaring “case closed” on the Russia probe deriding Democrats who he says are “grieving” the result.
The Republican leader opened the Senate Tuesday with a speech discussing how special counsel Robert Mueller’s “exhaustive” probe went on for two years and is now complete.
While Republicans have been encouraging lawmakers to move on from the Russia probe, some Democrats appear to refuse to accept the conclusions and are instead pressing for more information and oversight about the handling of the report.
