Missy Peregrym is the Canadian actress best known for her role in crime drama series “Rookie Blue” is also known for her role in “Stick It.”
The star has an intense workout routine to help her stay on track with her action-heavy on screen sequences.
For her role in “Stick It,” she reportedly did six hours of training a day for five days a week. The training lasted for five months. But after the film, Peregrym still tries to maintain her physique by devising her own workout plan that she follows three to four times a week.
She wakes up 7:30 a.m. and heads for the basketball courts for a one-on -one at Venice Beach. There she plays basketball for 45 mins. to one hour. She then hits the gym to do other training routines.
Another component of her healthy regime is her diet. Peregrym avoids foods with additives, according to an interview she gave in 2011 on Self.
After the workout she eats toast with some olive oil, some turkey bacon, two scrambled eggs, and a spring salad with avocados, cucumber, and feta cheese.
Peregrym allegedly married actor Zachary Levi (“Chuck,” “Thor”) as she posted a photo on her twitter profile with Levi wearing matching hoodies with the inscriptions “Mr” and “Mrs.”
