Mission Impossible 5: Tom Cruise, the lead actor in the movies, has signed on to both act in and produce a fifth Mission: Impossible.
The last Mission: Impossible (Ghost Protocol), earned nearly $700 million worldwide, according to Deadline.com. That was good for the highest grossing film Cruise has ever starred in.
Christopher McQuarrie, who recently wrote and directed Jack Reacher, which Cruise starred in, will likely write and direct the fifth Mission Impossible.
