Boxing legend Mike Tyson became the center of a good samaritan story last week when he decided to stop and help a motorcycle crash victim on a Las Vegas interstate.
The former heavyweight champion, who has had several run-ins with the law, stayed with the motorcyclist until the ambulance arrived.
One of the crash witnesses, Xiomara Tejada said that Tyson’s presence alone made the victim feel better.
“[Tyson] made him calmed, because he was Mike Tyson... The motorcyclist on the floor like ‘I know I’m hurt, but can I get a selfie with you? Can I get a picture?’” she said.
After the incident, the motorcyclist sent Tyson a fruit basket and a note thanking him, saying that it was good to have the boxer in his corner.
