Developer Turn 10 Studios announced “Forza Motorsport 6” at the Detroit Auto Show today, the most recent entry in the Microsoft-owned studio’s long-running racing franchise.
While little has actually been revealed about the game, Microsoft has said it will feature the Ford GT, which was also revealed today, as well as several other cars from the Detroit auto company. The companies haven’t revealed a complete list of cars that will appear in the game, but the Shelby GT350 Mustang and F-150 Raptor truck are also confirmed to be playable vehicles.
An official release date hasn’t been announced, but Microsoft has released main entries in the Forza franchise every other year, offset by releases of the franchise’s Horizon spinoff. “Forza Horizon 2” was released late last year, meaning “Forza 6” will likely be released late this year.
