Michelle Nicastro, the actress from When Harry Met Sally and voice of animation The Swan Princess, has died at the age of 50.
Nicastro had been battling breast cancer for the last 10 years and passed away at her home in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Perhaps best known for her part as Amanda Reese who introduced Harry and Sally in the 1989 movie, Nicastro had already established a career in theatre and originated the role of Eponine in the first Los Angeles production of Les Miserables in 1988.
The actress also starred in several television shows, including Santa Barbara, Airwolf, Who’s the Boss? and Full House.
She released four albums featuring mainly contemporary songs from Broadway.
Nicastro is survived by her husband, television producer Steve Stark, and their two daughters, Callie and Cady.
