As the season finale of “Dancing With the Stars” ended, professional ice skater Meryl Davis and her dancing partner Maksim (Maks) Chmerkovskiy haven’t sealed their blossoming relationship on the-screen with a kiss, as viewers predicted.
Fans, however, believe that the two are a perfect match. In the most recent twitter post, Chmerkovskiy posted a photo from one the couple’s routines where he holds Davis on his shoulders. “This is it... Wish I had another 100 weeks of dancing with @meryl_davis ...” he wrote.

After Chmerkovskiy’s post, Davis posted a photo of the same moment, except a more close-up version. “To have shared this experience with @maksimc has been a true privilege,” she wrote.
Although the two have been donned to be a perfect match and are preparing for the 2-hour season finale that airs on May 20, at 9 p.m. EST, they haven’t openly said anything about being in a relationship.
The two have been hanging out a lot, training together and also dining and doing other activities together.
Chmerkovskiy and Davis will go head to head with the other two remaining couples including Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas; and Amy Purdy and Derek Hough.
