A McDonald’s customer posted a video on Facebook that he alleges is a very hard McGriddle sandwich.
Edwin Edl went to a McDonald’s in Singapore to purchase the product last week.
In the video, he’s seen trying to stab the griddle with a plastic fork, which bends. The food remains unpunctured.
He also uses a metal fork, which bends, as well as a screwdriver. He then uses a hammer and a nail, which penetrates the apparently rock-hard sandwich.
“For those who are asking, I did not put into the freezer or do anything to it. It came the way it is. Thanks!!” he wrote.
In another video, he is seen attempting to run over one with his car, and he tosses the bread off a building.
Despite the hard sandwich, he suggested that he is undaunted and will continue to buy more.
“McGriddles will still be my favorite McDonald’s breakfast of all time,“ he said. ”I never lose faith in them.”
Edl said that both McDonalds and GrabFood contacted him and “did an excellent job on customer handling service.”
Razor in Happy Meal?
Scot Dymond took his 4-year-old son, Emmett, through a Wisconsin McDonald’s drive-thru window before they made an unwelcome discovery, Channel3000 reported. When they got home, Emmett discovered a hand-held scraping tool with a sharp razor blade attached.
He wasn’t satisfied with the response.
“I couldn’t imagine him cutting his arm open, or even losing a finger, because it’s so sharp,” he told Channel3000. “I was very upset, very angry. I couldn’t figure out how it would’ve even gotten in there.”
Dymond spoke to the police department in Columbus, which confirmed that it was indeed a scraper tool.
Police officers asked parents to be vigilant about double-checking any Happy Meal bags handed out children.
“Always be aware of what you’re giving your children,” Lt. Dennis Weiner told WMTV. “Give it an extra eye.”
“(It’s) kinda scary, kinda scary. I understand the blade was also extended when it was found in the box as well,” he also told Channel3000. “I’m sure they were surprised to not have a toy.”
