A man was arrested Friday after he threw a backpack over the White House fence and then jumped over it, ABC News reports.

The Secret Service said that this occurred around 11:44 p.m, more than 4 hours after president Obama had returned to the White House after the conclusion of the Nuclear Security Summit.

After being taken into custody, the man was charged with unlawful entry, then escorted to the D.C. Metropolitan police department.

There is no indication that the backpack contained any weapons.

Last year, a man wearing the American flag jumped the White House fence and was immediately caught.

The last serious breach of the White House took place in 2014, when a man with a knife managed to enter the executive mansion before he was arrested.

The Secret Service was heavily criticized for their failure to stop the man from getting inside the White House.

In January of last year, a drunk US government employee had crashed a drone on the grounds of the White House, and was left uncharged.
