A man who travels throughout the country behind Trump and sells his hats and merchandise, says Trump is the only politician who has kept his promises to the people.

“This is the only person, politician that I have ever known who [has] done what he said he would do. So that’s the biggest thing. That’s one of the big pieces that has really sustained my support for President Trump,” said Bernard Clinton at the Trump rally in Cincinnati, Ohio on Aug. 1.

Clinton, who is a Republican, said he is very excited about what President Donald Trump has achieved and the way he has changed the economy.

At the Cincinnati rally on Thursday, his fifth visit since he announced his candidacy for the White House in 2015, President Trump ridiculed “left-wing extremists” for opposing his policies on immigration and the economy.

“Our nation is stronger today than ever before,” Trump told the flag-waving crowd which almost filled all the 17,500 seats at the U.S. Bank Arena. “We’re finally putting America first. It’s about time.”

Speaking to NTDTV, an affiliate of The Epoch Times before Trump addressed the crowds, Clinton almost expressed the same views.

“This man has changed the economy. I drive through the country with him, well not with him but to his events, selling his hats and everywhere I see is ‘help wanted’ ‘hiring,’ gas stations and everything. So Trump is getting it done,” said Clinton, who said much rhetoric about Trump being racist is merely political.

“So all the rhetoric about him being racist and not being this or that. The man is getting the job done,” he said.

Trump has been often been accused of being racist, but he has not paid heed to their claims.

“Their policy is no good,” Trump told the crowds about the Democrats. “They’re lousy politicians, but they stick together like glue.”

Trump also said the Democrat party is now being led by the four “leftwing extremists who reject everything that we hold dear,” referring to Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Rashia Tlaib (D-Mich.), and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.).

“The rage-filled Democratic party is trying to tear America apart,” he said. “No one has paid a higher price for the far left’s destructive agenda than Americans living in our inner cities. They have paid a dear price—you see what’s happening. We spend billions and billions and billions for years and years. And it’s stolen money and it’s wasted money, and it’s a shame.”

Clinton, who has a Masters degree from American University in political science, has his own understanding of why Democrats dislike Trump.

“I think the biggest reason that these people are angry, the democrats are mad, is because he has taken everything that they could possibly run on to get re-elected or to beat him. He has taken it away from them by doing what he said he was going to do.

“Again, turning the economy around. Moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Tax breaks, just on and on and on and on. He has just done so much and in his first term. This man really has done more in his first term than President Obama did in eight, plus Bush eight,” said Clinton.
