A British animal rights group is searching for a man who was spotted violently kicking a dog in Lancashire.
The clip, which was captured via a dashboard camera, was released by the RSPCA, who is calling on the public to find the assailant. The man is seen kicking the animal against a wall before stomping on it.
As the man was attacking the dog, several people watched.
The RSPCA wants to know if the dog has been injured.
RSPCA inspector Charlotte Booke told the Metro: “We want to find this dog to check on his welfare. The footage we have been passed shows the dog being walked down a street by the man. He pauses and is seen kicking the dog repeatedly against a wall, before continuing to walk with the dog down the street.”
She said witnesses told the watchdog that the dog, a pit bull or possibly bulldog, was kicked with “considerable force” before it was “crushed into the ground” with his foot.
“Naturally we are extremely concerned about this dog and want to hear from anyone who can help us to find him.”
The man was described as Asian and tall with facial hair, according to the Evening Standard.
“If you have any information please call the RSPCA inspector appeal line on 0300 123 8018 as soon as possible,” Booke said, according to the Standard.
