KUALA LUMPUR—“Help stop the persecution of Falun Gong.” That was the message sent to the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama by a group of Falun Gong practitioners gathered near the U.S. embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday morning.

About 20 Falun Gong practitioners came together in anticipation of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s visit this week.

“Mr. John Kerry, Welcome to Malaysia; Please help to end immediately the killings and forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China,” read a banner held outside the Embassy.

Kerry is coming in place of President Obama, who cancelled his planned Oct. 11 visit so that he could deal with the government shutdown in United States.

The spokesperson for the practitioners, Jason Ong, read aloud a letter to the Obama administration urging the U.S. government to publicly ask the Chinese Communist Party end the organ harvesting from and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The letter was later submitted to the U.S. embassy.

The letter noted the U.S. government had recognized the practice of forced organ harvesting: “The online U.S. non-immigrant visa application, Form DS-160, requires the following information from the applicant: ‘Have you ever been directly involved in the coercive transplantation of human organs or bodily tissue?’”

The letter said this question shows that U.S. government is aware of the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of harvesting the organs of living Falun Gong practitioners. According to investigators, Falun Gong practitioners are the most common source of organs used in transplantation operations in China.

“As world’s leader in human rights and a nation that believes in God, the U.S.A. should play a more active role to stop the most horrific persecution in the history of mankind,” read the letter.

In the letter, Falun Gong practitioners also urged the U.S. government to disclose any evidence it might possess of organ harvesting crimes in China.

In February 2012, Former police chief and deputy mayor of Chongqing Wang Lijun made a surprising and hasty visit to the U.S. consulate in Chengdu, China. A well-placed source told Epoch Times that Wang gave U.S. officials confidential documents containing critical information about top communist officials’ involvement in the persecution of Falun Gong. U.S. officials have denied receiving any such information.

“U.S.A. is the world leader in human rights and democracy, President Obama must use the influence and power of the U.S. to pressure the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong, including the crimes of live organ harvesting,” said Mr. Chia, the organizer of the group outside the Embassy.

Falun Gong was widely practiced in China throughout the 1990s. All that changed on July 20 of 1999, when Jiang Zemin, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party, launched a persecution against the practice because of his jealousy of the overwhelming popularity of Falun Gong—according to regime sources, between 70 and 100 million Chinese practiced Falun Gong at that time, more than the membership of the CCP.

14 years later, Falun Gong practitioners remain as the largest group of prisoners of conscience in China, according to the Falun Dafa Information Center, the press office for Falun Gong. They are the main targets of the crimes against humanity committed by the CCP.
