1. First things first. Install the Xbox Music app from the Windows app store.

3. Once the browser is open, visit the Bing search engine and enter a query for the name of a song or a particular artist that you want to build your playlist around. 4. Hover the mouse pointer over in the lower right corner of the browser screen on IE or swipe from the right side to open the Windows 8.1 Charms Bar.
5. Once there, click “Share Charm.”
6. Click “Music,” and then click “Create a Playlist.”
7. Here’s where the magic happens. Xbox Music will go to work making your Xbox Music playlist from this Web page.
8. When prompted, type in a name for your playlist and click Save. Your newly-created playlist will now show up in the Xbox Music app when you open it. Enjoy!
