NBC late night TV hosts Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon made fun of their respective situations on Monday night, partaking in a skit touching on rumors that Fallon will be replacing Leno in 2014.

On “The Tonight Show,” the two held a staged phone call in which Leno says: “Yeah. I'll live. I’ve been through this before. Gotta admit, I’m getting a little sick of this.”

Fallon then asks if the two are still friends. “Of course we’re still friends,” Leno answers.

The two then have a duet with dubbed-over singing. “Tonight, tonight, my ratings were all right. Twenty years and I’m still in first place,” Leno sings.

“Tonight, tonight, is it going to be Jimmy or Jay? Tonight, tonight, where will they tape Tonight? In New York, or will it stay in L.A.?” they both sang.

Over the past several weeks, there have been reports that NBC executives are looking to replace Leno with Fallon to compete against ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in the coveted 18-49 age demographic.
