The 2013 event is the second Le Mans battle between Audi and Toyota, and the German manufacturer seems to have the edge in speed—Audis have captured the top three grid positions, with the pole-sitting #2 Audi qualifying at 3:22:349, 3.817 seconds quicker than the fastest Toyota.
In P2 the #24 Oak Racing Morgan-Nissan qualified almost two seconds quicker than the Jota Zytek-Nissan, but almost any of the 22 P2 entries has a decent shot at a class win.
Aston Martin Racing took the top two spots in GTE-Pro with the #99 and #97 Vantages, followed by the #92 Manthey Porsche. Next on the grids lies another Aston, the GTE-Am leading #95 Vantage.
The quickest Ferrari, the #71 AF Corse 458, is fourth in class, following the GTE-Am Aston. The normally Speedy Corvette Racing C6s lie sixth and tenth in class.Aston Martin Racing took the top two spots in GTE-Pro with the #99 and #97 Vantages, followed by the #92 Manthey Porsche.
