NEW YORK—A late winter flurry of snow descended on New York City Friday morning, making the roads and pavement slippery and everything moved a little slower.
The forecast for Friday says it will continue to snow through 4 p.m., when it is likely to start raining, according to NOAA, the national weather service. The wind is up with a north wind 24 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph, the NOAA said.
The total daytime snow accumulation is predicted to be around an inch,
Saturday’s forecast looks brighter, with sunny weather and a high of around 49 predicted.
