Couple Unaware an Armed Robbery Was Going on in Bar

Updated:

A couple at a Montana bar was kissing throughout an entire armed robbery, unaware of what was transpiring in their presence on April 11.

Police released surveillance footage of a couple at the Tap Inn in Billings—after 1 a.m.—kissing and canoodling while the place was being robbed at gunpoint.

With all the chaos that was happening right behind them, the couple continued to kiss.

According to Inside Edition, the suspects—two males and a female—entered the bar with their open firearms, wearing bandanas and gloves to hide their identity.

They were demanding cash from the till, and staff swiftly fulfilled the robbers’ demands.

Still, with all the chaos that was happening right behind them, the couple continued to kiss and hold hands.

The robbers fled the venue with a wad of cash, and hopped into a waiting car.

Once they departed, staff alerted the police immediately.

The owner of the bar, Chuck Rhodes, told Inside Edition that the robbers “were here for less than a minute.”

The investigation is ongoing and the robbers have yet to be identified.

No one was hurt in the incident.
