Kevin Bacon apology: Actor Kevin Bacon said he was sorry for revealing a plot twist in “The Following,” his TV show.
Bacon re-tweeted a comment that gave away a key spoiler in the show to his more than 200,000 followers.
The episode aired in the United States on Monday, but it was not yet shown overseas, according to reports.
“To all the fans abroad and late watchers I’m truly sorry I retweeted a spoiler. I just wasn’t thinking. Won’t happen again. (My bad),” Bacon said on his Twitter page.
He also uploaded a video of himself smiling and saying “my bad, my bad, my bad.”
“We forgive you. I could never stay mad at @kevinbacon Come on you guys!” said one Twitter user following the apology.
