Kelsey Grammer, the 56-year-old five-time Emmy Award winner, married his 29-year-old fiancée, Kayte Walsh, on Friday.
Grammer booked the wedding to take place on stage at the Longacre Theatre in New York, the same Broadway stage where he starred in a revival of the musical La Cage aux Folles, according to KABC-TV’s blog OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Actor Terry Lavell, who co-starred with Grammer in La Cage aux Folles, officiated the 3 p.m. EST nuptials, according to The New York Post.
After the ceremony, the couple was expected to move the party to The Plaza Hotel’s ballroom, where guests would be set to enjoy dancing to a live band and dine on lobsters, prawns, and a 4-foot wedding cake, The Huffington Post reported.
Grammer, who is best known for playing the title role on Frasier, was engaged to Walsh, a British flight attendant, last December.
Grammer was previously married to Doreen Alderman, Leigh-Anne Csuhany, and Camille Donatacci.
