Justin Timberlake Releases Second Music Video for ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’

Updated:

Justin Timberlake has released a second video for single “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”

The Memphis native premiered the video on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show“ on May 16 from the Cannes Film Festival in France.

“Oh, hey Ellen. I didn’t see you there. I just came over to Cannes. Most of these people think I’m here for the film festival, but I’m mostly just getting autographs for my son,” he said to DeGeneres.

The upbeat song is for the upcoming DreamWorks animated 3-D film “Trolls,” which also stars the 35-year-old singer as Branch, a grumpy troll.

Timberlake premiered the tune and the first video on May 5 with a music video that drew cameos from his movie co-stars, Gwen Stefani, Anna Kendrick, Kunal Nayyar, and Ron Funches. They all partook in a listening session of the song, and in various locations sang and danced to the track. Timberlake is the executive music producer for the soundtrack.

The new video begins with Justin Timberlake enjoying a slice of blueberry pie at Cindy’s Coffee Shop and then transitions into him singing as everyday people dance around the Los Angeles area. Fans even get to see the “Sexyback” singer break out some dance moves after a three-year gap since the last album.

The video is strikingly similar to good friend Pharrell Williams’s hit single “Happy.”

Timberlake didn’t only premiere videos from the Cannes Film Festival, but also graced the stage with a surprise performance.

Justin Timberlake and Kendrick took the stage at the Cannes Film Festival on May 11 where they gave fans an acoustic performance of Cyndi Lauper’s 1986 hit, “True Colors.”

The emotional performance ended with loud cheers from the crowd and a high five between Kendrick and Timberlake.

The “Trolls” soundtrack is scheduled for a fall release and will feature both “True Colors” and “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”

“Trolls” is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 4
