The New York Jets finally announced their newest acquisition Monday, former Denver quarterback Tim Tebow. Tebow was acquired from the Broncos last Wednesday, along with a seventh-round pick for cash and draft picks in the fourth and sixth-rounds this year.
At Monday’s press conference Tebow was asked questions on a number of topics including his relationship with incumbent starter Mark Sanchez. “From my conversations with him, he was excited and he was excited about working with me and I’m excited about working with him. I have a lot of respect for him.”
Naturally the question of how Tebow, a backup quarterback, will fit into the Jets offense came up—possibly at another position. As expected, Tebow seems flexible. “However I can help the team, however I can make a difference, however they can use me I'll be open to it.”
