After newlyweds Jessica Simpson, 33, and Eric Johnson, 34, tied the knot this weekend, they didn’t travel far from the Santa Barbara location where the wedding celebrations unfolded. After their July 6th wedding, they travelled to the Ty Warner Cottage at the Ranch San Ysidro in Montecito, CA.
The Cottage is popular among celebrities as stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin were spotted there also.
The two enjoyed their luxurious stay which included access to canopy beds, private jacuzzis, spa services, and beautiful natural surroundings.
According to TMZ, the couple also treated their guests to a fancy July 4th BBQ at the Ranch on the Friday before their wedding. The San Ysidro is known as one of California’s most exclusive resorts, and is said to be the same place where JFK and Jackie O spent their honeymoon. The party had karaoke and a live performance by a band, TMZ reported.
Johnson, a retired NFL player, and Simpson have been engaged since 2010 and share two children.
A two night stay at the Ranch during the weekend would approximately cost $4,000 per room. Guests staying at the Ranch San Ysidro can enjoy hiking in the Santa Ynez Mountains or biking around local beaches.
