Jennifer Lawrence is secretly dating Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth, according to a new report.

Lawrence, 24, has been linked to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 37, lately but the pair reportedly split last month due to Martin staying close with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

Hemsworth, 24, was engaged to Miley Cyrus but they ended their relationship in September 2013.

An insider tells OK magazine that Lawrence and Hemsworth have been secretly dating for weeks, making the decision “to take their relationship to another level while promoting the latest Hunger Games movie in Germany.

The decision came after a “heart-to-heart” in Liam’s hotel room, the source claims.

Lawrence vented about the naked pictures hacking situation as well as her split from Martin, and Hemsworth’s actions of comforting her ignited sparks.

“It was as if she suddenly knew he was The One,” the source said.

“And Liam obviously felt it, too, because they decided then and there that they wanted to be together.”

The report remains unverified, and sources close to both actors told Gossip Cop that the relationship is strictly platonic.

Lawrence did open up about her relationship with Hemsworth, telling Nylon that they’ve become best friends.

“I guess the thing that surprised me is that I would never expect to ever have a man this good-looking ever be my best friend,” Lawrence said.

“I just would never assume those things could happen, but he is. He’s the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy.”

The actress told the publication that her Australian co-star “actually taught me how to be fair and to stand up for myself.”

“It’s my biggest weakness: negotiating. I’m a wimp about standing up for myself and Liam is always fair. He’s always on time, he’s always doing his job, and he’s good about making sure that things stay fair,” she added. “He’s teaching me to toughen up a little bit.”

“That was important,” Lawrence said. “I need that.”
