Jennifer Aniston cheat day: The slim and trim actress gives fitness advice, while saying she allows herself moderate cheat days with pasta and Mexican food.

Jennifer Aniston, 44, talked health and fitness at the celebration of her long-time friend and yoga instructor Mandy Ingber’s new book, Yogalosophy: 28 Days To the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover at West Hollywood’s SoHo House on Monday.

“Love the body that you have right now, because that’s the perfect body, and be patient with yourself,” Aniston said when Entertainment Tonight (ET) asked what fitness advice she would give others.

She said that at the beginning, it might be painful, but, “It’s all about being really gentle with yourself, and acceptance of what it is at the moment.”

Aniston met her yoga instructor, Ingber, 22 years ago, and they’ve been close friends since. Aniston told People that she and Ingber used to be “a lot rounder,” but as they matured, they became more responsible about their fitness.

Nonetheless, Aniston admitted cheat days to People: “Cheat days for me are usually ... it’s either Mexican food ... maybe Italian pasta, but I think you always have to do it in moderation.”

Aniston praised Ingber’s instruction for including both a fun, cardio element and a meditative, yoga element. Actress Demi Moore, who also attended the celebration of Ingber’s book, told ET she believes a fitness regimen must work on mind, body, and spirit.

Ingber also instructs Kate Beckinsale, Brooke Shields, and Helen Hunt, according to People. Her book will be available May 6.
