TOKYO—Responding to a Chinese official visiting Japan for a week, a representative of the Quit the Chinese Communist Party Service Center and president of the Falun Dafa Association of Japan met with Mr. Ogihara, an official of Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China Affairs on Saturday, April 11.

Visiting Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official Li Changchun visited Paris in July 2004, where he was sued as an accomplice in the torture of Falun Dafa practitioners. He was also sued in Belgium and Taiwan.

Mr. Kunio Sato, from the Quit the Chinese Communist Party Service Center, and president of the Falun Dafa Association in Japan, Mr. Masaaki Tsuruzono, urged Mr. Ogihara to expel Li Changchun from Japan for his involvement in the torture and deaths of thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.

Mr. Tsuruzono described the persecution of practitioners and their families in China since 1999 to Mr. Ogihara. For ten years, practitioners have been severely persecuted simply for their belief in truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance, the three tenants of Falun Dafa. As of April this year, 3,259 practitioner deaths have been confirmed as a result of the Chinese Communist Party’s ongoing persecution according to minghui.net, Falun Dafa’s official information website.

Movement to Quit the Chinese Communist Party

Mr. Sato of the Quit the CCP Service Center says that Chinese people in Mainland China are putting up posters with peoples’ withdrawal statements from the CCP in public places all over China. Since the publication of the Epoch Times series The Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party, or Jiuping in the Chinese language, tens of millions of ordinary Chinese people have renounced their association with the CCP.

Recently in Washington DC, Mr. Li Fengzhi, a former official of the Ministry of State Security of China publicly announced his withdrawal from the CCP in front of the People’s Republic of China’s embassy in the United States. In his renunciation, Mr. Li explained that his withdrawal from the CCP was an act of loyalty to his country that was taken over by the specter of the CCP. Mr. Sato explained to Mr. Ogihara that Mr. Li’s withdrawal from the CCP indicates that he fully understood the evil nature of the CCP and that it was the power of Chinese traditional values that caused Mr. Li’s action. According to Mr. Sato, the collapse of CCP is becoming more and more imminent and that a new China without the CCP’s grip is being born.

According to the Chinese Epoch Times website that tracks withdraws from the CCP, over 52 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. An average of 40 thousand people quit the CCP daily.

Mr. Sato finished by saying that the CCP will certainly fall in the near future. Japan should be grateful and supportive to those who withdraw and reject the CCP. Mr. Ogihara said that he would treasure this information and pass it on to his superiors.
