Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy got the first perfect score of Dancing With the Stars season 19 on Monday night.
The pair did a Jazz dance to “America” from “West Side Story.”
“What just happened! I felt like I was watching a full-on Broadway show,” said judge Julianne Hough.
“This is your star-making turn,” added Bruno. “Bravo, bravo!”
They later received 10s from all the judges, for a 40 out of 40.
It was the first perfect dance of the season.
Janel and Val have consistently been one of the top teams this season, and appear potentially poised to win the whole thing.
If that happened, Val would follow his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who won last season with Meryl Davis.
The big difference is that Meryl was an athlete but Janel is best known for her acting.
However, the judges have remarked over the season so far that she’s a natural on the dance floor.
There is also obvious chemistry between her and Val, leading to dating rumors despite Janel already having a boyfriend.
