James Franco, who will co-host the 83rd annual Academy Awards with 28-year-old The Princess Diaries actress Anne Hathaway, tweeted at 7:20 p.m. EST that he will “try to smile tonight.”

The 32-year-old Spider-Man actor posted on his Twitter page that he was “getting ready” at 7 p.m. EST, an hour before the big show on Sunday night at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.

Along with Hathaway, Franco is the youngest host ever for the Oscars .

Honoring movies released in 2010, “Hollywood’s biggest night” will introduce the winners in the 24 Oscar categories starting at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST.

The show will be broadcast live on ABC.
