The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, a law enforcement officialtold the Associated Press

According to the Associated Press, the official said the coroner determined drug cocktail given to Jackson on June 25
Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson’s physician, has been under investigation for manslaughter by Los Angeles police since July. Murray was in Jackson’s mansion when the King of Pop collapsed and had administered several drugs to Jackson throughout the night and morning of June 25.
Jackson was being treated for insomnia with the sedative Propofol for six weeks before his death. ethal levels of were found in system, a warrant to search Murray’s storage uniton July 22.

Jackson was receiving Propofol from at least two other sources—Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger. Jackson told Murray two other doctors in Germany were also giving him Propofol, according to MSNBC.
Propofol, also known as Diprivan, is a sedative used to induce general anesthesiaIt is sometimes used in dental surgery.
According to the search warrant, although Murray admitted to a police officer he administered 25 mg. of Propofol along with Lidocaine to Jackson on the morning of the death, DEA records show Murray never ordered, purchased, or received any Propofol.
The police found approximately eight bottles of in Jackson’s home, as well as several other vials and pills.
