J.K. Rowling’s ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Screenplay to Be Published

It’s a banner year for J.K. Rowling.

In June, her play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will premier in London, and in November, the screenplay for  will be published.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is a movie spinoff from the Harry Potter series. The name of the movie is the same as that of a book referenced in the series, purportedly a guide“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” to the different magical creatures in the Harry Potter universe, and used as a textbook by Hogwarts students. 

The screenplay follows the adventures of Newt Scamander.

The screenplay will be published on Nov. 19, a day after the movie’s premier, and can be pre-ordered online now.
