Donald Trump’s ex-wife says she’s been advising Trump during his bid for president.
The 69-year-old and Ivana Trump, 67, split in 1991 after Trump allegedly cheated on her.
But Ivana Trump says she and her ex-husband have come together and she is now advising him during the campaign.
“I suggest a few things,” she told the New York Post. “We speak before and after the appearances and he asks me what I thought.”
She added that she tells him to “be more calm” and adds that she gave Donald the motto: “You think it, I say it.”
“But Donald cannot be calm,” she admits. “He’s very outspoken. He just says it as it is.”
That, however, is why Ivana thinks Donald Trump would be a great president.
“He’s no politician. He’s a businessman. He knows how to talk. He can give an hour speech without notes ... He’s blunt.” She added that Donald would surround himself with “fantastic advisers, like Carl Icahn. Really brilliant minds. And he'd make a decision! Obama cannot make a decision if his life depends on it. It’s ridiculous.”
