It’s okay if you’re not Italian, you can still experience the large family dining experience at Carmine’s on the Upper West Side.

The restaurant serves southern Italian cuisine in large portions for food sharing between friends and family, to induce the aura of an Italian family dinner.

Every Monday and Tuesday evening, Carmine’s Upper West Side location is offering an “Italian Clambake” special for two for $65.

The clambake consists of two one-pound broiled lobsters; six baked clams seasoned with breadcrumb topping; and 12 mussels. Sides include signature roasted potatoes and polenta.

They also offer delicious cocktails such as their Blueberry Mojito and White Sangria.

The restaurant also makes versions of menu items for foodies who eat gluten-free, dairy-free, and, well, garlic-free. They also offer vegetarian and vegan versions of dishes.

If you’re not feeling the expense of seafood, other dishes are available.

They serve broccoli spears, seared until brown with garlic, olive oil and chicken stock, and it serves four to six people. ($14.50)
