LONDON—Members of the Iraq Inquiry are in the United States for five days this week to talk with officials and military officers.

A statement from the Inquiry, known as the Chilcot Inquiry, said that the identity of the US officials would not be revealed in advance, but may be made public later, subject to their agreement.

It also said that members of the committee had talked to former French officials earlier this month, including Dominique de Villepin (French Minister of Foreign Affairs 2002-2004).

The next round of public hearings is due to take place in the summer.
