INDIANAPOLIS—Wherever Shen Yun performs, public officials at the federal, state, and local levels continue to welcome and congratulate the world-renowned classical Chinese and music company. State Rep. Cindy Noe joined the enthusiastic audience welcoming New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts to Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University in Indianapolis on Wednesday evening, March 14.

“It is just a real masterpiece!” she said.

Classical China’s precious heritage, all but lost, is now renewed and rises in the West. Since ancient times, Chinese people believed that their traditional culture was a gift from the divine. Classical Chinese dance is part of that heritage.

Ms. Noe shared her appreciation and said, “It is a delight to watch the dancers on the stage with the orchestra.”

Noting the contemporary scenes of Falun Dafa practitioners being persecuted for their belief in The Choice, she said, “China suffered under communism for quite a long period of time, and they are now experiencing, since communists do not believe in any divine God. ... I’m hoping that the persecution that was portrayed on the stage is lessening.”

She added, “I think it also portrays that wherever you are in this world, there really is a clash between good and evil.”
