Ibrahim and Salah Abdeslam, two brothers, were identified as suspects in the Paris terror attacks. Bilal Hadfi  was also named as a potential suspect in the attacks that left more than 120 dead, officials said Nov. 15.

UPDATE at 1:33 p.m. Sunday- French police have issued an alert for Salah Abdeslam, and a manhunt is currently underway. It warns people who see him that he’s dangerous, urging people  to “not intervene yourself.” Abdeslam is 26 years old and is 5"9, or 175 cm, and he was born in Brussels.

Reports say that Salah is suspected of renting a car that delivered the attackers to the Bataclan concert hall.

He is one of three brothers believed to be involved in the killings.

Update at 12:20 p.m. - Ibrahim and Salah Abdeslam have been definitively identified as being two of the terrorists, a senior European intelligence official told the Washington Post.

“Both were French nationals who have lived for years in Belgium. One of the two was a suicide bomber, while the other helped with logistics and, among other things, rented one of the cars used in the attacks, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity,” the paper reported.

The brothers’ identification comes after Omar Ismail Mostefai was positively identified as one of the attackers at Bataclan Theatre, where dozens were killed and others wounded.

Police identified him after they found his severed finger. He and two associates blew themselves up after exchanging fire with police.

“It was a normal family, just like everybody else,” said a neighbor of Mostefaï, speaking about him to the New York Times. “He played with my children. He never spoke about religion. He was normal. He had a joie de vivre. He laughed a lot.”

The European official identified another assailant as Bilal Hadfi, “who also lived in Belgium and investigators confirmed had fought with the Islamic State in Syria.”

The terrorist group Islamic State, better known as ISIS, took credit for the attacks across the French capital.

Meanwhile, investigators are looking into whether two other men, one with a passport identifying him as Syrian native Ahmed Almuhamed, were part of the attack.

The men crossed into Europe through Greece and made their way through several other countries, including Hungary, before reaching France, according to reports.

The Associated Press reported that another suicide attacker was identified by a skin sample, but has not been identified. Three of the suicide bombers were French citizens, while two others were French men living in Brussels.

Officials believe around 20 people were involved in the attacks.
