We know the iPad Pro will have a display with a diagonal of roughly 12.9 inches, but what about the rest of the device’s dimensions?
Nowhereelse.fr has obtained a leaked schematic that seems to show us the giant iPad’s full dimensions will be 305.7 millimeters by 222.6 millimeters with a thickness of just 7.2 millimeters.

For comparison, consider that the iPad Air 2, which came out last fall, measures in at 6.1 millimeters thin. The original iPad Air, meanwhile, was 7.5 millimeters thin.
This means that the larger iPad, despite having a bigger overall frame and more powerful internal hardware, is going to be thinner than the original iPad Air, which was seen as a marvel of engineering just two years ago.
Nowhereelse.fr notes that this particular schematic is dated December 2014, which means these are likely the final dimensions, although we won’t know for certain until the device is officially unveiled this fall.
It’s also worth noting that a couple of weeks ago we got our first look at a prototype for an iPad Air 2 case that seems to confirm the dimensions shown in the leaked schematic.
