Your bedroom is your sanctuary. The place you go to recharge your batteries, and the first place you see when you open your eyes in the morning.
A cozy, comfortable, and relaxing bedroom is essential for a good night’s sleep. It’s just what you need to fall asleep easily, and wake up rested in the morning. If you’re looking for ways to make your bedroom more comfortable and relaxing, here’s how you can up the cozy factor, and make your space even more inviting.
Bedding and Textiles
Bedding and textiles are an easy way to increase coziness. Add a fluffy duvet or quilt, and plenty of pillows for a comfortable and cozy bed. If you have hardwood floors, you could also consider a textured or shag rug for added comfort. Texture can help increase the feeling of coziness, so be sure to layer pillows that have different textures. Curtains can also help to bring the walls closer, creating the ultimate comfortable and cozy room.
Accessories
In addition to pillows and blankets, bring in patterns and prints that make you happy. Look for art that’s pleasant, soothing, and not too busy. Candles or diffusers can also help to give the room an inviting smell. You may also want to add one or two live plants to make the space more relaxing.
A Soft Color Pallet
If you’re looking to increase coziness, you might consider keeping the tones soft to help increase the feeling of warmth. Or, look for neutral colors like white, cream, and beige. These neutral colors work together beautifully and allow you to easily layer pillows, bedding, and throws for optimal texture and coziness, without going overboard.
Are you ready to make your room cozier?
