Ingredients:
- 4 cups cubed mangoes (or any seasonal fruit can be substituted)
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees. Start by placing mangoes, carrots, lime juice, and unsweetened honey in a blender and blend it until it becomes a puree.
2. Once the puree has been blended, place the puree on a pan; on medium high heat for 30 minutes.
3. Next, spread the puree on a silpat, and put it in the oven for about 3 hours.
4. Remove it from the oven, and allow it to cool.
5. Finally, peel the puree of the silpat, and put it on top of a wax paper. Roll them up, and enjoy!
This is definitely a fun and nutritious snack for your kid. A great way to integrate fruits and vegetables into your kid’s snack.
