Actors Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes will play the roles of two iconic Americans in an upcoming original series on the History Channel.

Kinnear will play President John F. Kennedy and Holmes, first lady Jacqueline Kennedy, in ’The Kennedys‘—an 8-hour miniseries scheduled to debut in 2011.
